I chose an advertising of a popular smartphone.
First of all I with a straight denotation of the image.
The color cast is about a sunset on the water, with a smooth transition form the blue/orange of the sky to the orange/blue of the still and mirroring water.
The horizon line is built with backlight and the sihlouette of dipping rocks and a running couple.
The smartphone is in the center close-up and does not really cover the image but lets the viewer look like through a window. A pen is in close-up too and the point is just at the end of the rocks.
It is a real scene, graphically modified in order to attract the attention on the smartphone (the product) and the pen (the added value accessory).
Everything is in perfect focus and the shallow depth of field is avoided, like in reality.

The point of view is from the telephone/open window. The almost complete absence of a frame is stressed in order to catch the viewer's attention on one of the main smartphone's peculiarities. Together with the payoff, all this gives an overall sense of liberty and this is confirmed by the free-and-running couple. The more, even if the couple looks interned by the end of the rocks, then arrives the help of the pen, that, together with the smartphone, can modify reality and extend the path on the water, all the way to horizon, "...doing bigger things....".
The general message/idea is that, using this smartphone and the pen (the punctum), the lucky owner can model reality to his/her needs, designing a preferred world with no limit to his/her imagination and definitely reaching happiness.
There is a conceptual dualism between the two couples: the man and the woman, the smartphone and the pen: the second couple can make the life better for the first couple. Because, if you "...do bigger things...", your life will be better and you will be happier.
