Street photography is, by far, my favourite genre. Black and white as well: I believe that the main reason is because with black and white comes a particular focus to composition and impression. I can work on contrasts. Shadows and lights stand out together with texture and geometry.
So it is easy to say which is my favourite set.
When I went out for a walk in my neighborhood, I tried to divide the shooting session in two parts since the beginning, in order to "think before shooting", and think first in black and white and then in colour. However I realized that, if I really wanted to be inspired from what I saw during my walk and seize most of the opportunities, I should have rotated between "thinking in black and white" and "thinking in colour".
In some cases I took a shot in both ways.
