Post-Production
My first experiment of manipulating reality by post-production has been to use the "clone" tool in Lightroom.
Normally this tool is used to remove spots and unwanted parts in the original image.
In this experiment by the tool I created a "third" hand in order to create a surreal image, where hands go all along the piano keyboard. My aim is to give a sense of movement and velocity at the same time.
I worked on a photo that was taken in backstage just before a classical music concert. I could get close to the piano player and use a 50 mm (in aps-c format it is equivalent to 80 mm) and a maximum aperture of 1.4, in order to have a shallow depth of field.
I set the tool to 72% shadowed and 100% opacity.
